We believe well designed homes can complement and enhance people's way of life. Our aim is to make the spaces we use everyday a more enjoyable place to be, and better suited to modern life.
As a team of two, we offer a very personal service. We understand the importance of analysing the requirements of each individual project, and the need to tailor every brief to respond to Clients’ specific requirements, the context and surroundings of the site.
We offer a full architectural service and guide Clients through the full creative and technical process - from the Initial Measured Survey, through Concept Design, Planning, Building Control, Tender and Construction.
We share an enthusiasm for good quality natural materials, and using them to create elegant, sustainable spaces.
We work on a range of residential projects of all scales - from internal refurbishments and reconfigurations to extensions throughout Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire and London. If you wish to discuss a project then we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch and we will guide you through the next steps.
Bryony studied Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. On graduating she was invited to present and exhibit her design thesis at the ‘Another Life, Another City’ seminar at the Zacheta Gallery in Warsaw.
Bryony worked with conservation specialist Purcell before moving to commercial practice John Robertson Architects. Here she worked on large scale developments, with one winning Best International Development at the International Property Awards, shortlisted for the Stirling Prize 2015 and Winner of the London Regional RIBA Awards. Following this, Bryony moved to Powell Tuck Associates to specialise in high-end residential and commercial design. Here she ran a number of extension and refurbishment projects to properties in Regents Park, Kensington and Mayfair.
Bryony has a detailed understanding of the design and construction process and the requirements of working with existing buildings. This expertise can be applied to maximise the potential of each project.
Nic studied Architecture at The Bartlett (UCL) and the University of Westminster.
He worked with commercial practice ESA on range of new build and retail developments before moving to AndArchitects to work on a number of high-end residential projects across London. These typically involved whole house refurbishments, often with the addition of an extension or loft conversion, with one shortlisted for the Best Redesign at the Grand Designs Awards. Here he also worked on a variety of sport and community projects, including pavilions in the London 2012 Olympic Park, before moving to Aukett Swanke to run large scale new build science and innovation projects outside London. This involved much co-ordination and consultation with specialists and a large design team.
Nic has a broad experience of creative projects across a variety of scales, sectors and budgets.
